Track Rentals
Pueblo Motorsports Park has several “tracks” that can be rented by Organizations or Individuals. These venues are available for testing, practice, competition or training events.
•¼ mile drag strip
•2.2 mile road racing course
•Motocross track
•Rally cross track
•Rally track
Interested persons should contact the Track Manager/Tom Abbott at 719-696-0373 or 719-547-7721. In addition to payment of the rental fees, Renters are required to furnish proof of Liability Insurance; provide Medical Coverage, and provide Safety Worker Crew for all hours of operation. Pueblo Motorsports Park can assist with all these arrangements upon request.
Individual drivers and riders welcome to rent the track for “private use” and are also encouraged to check with the various Clubs and Association that already have competition, training, and practice dates.
On October 1, 2009 The City of Pueblo took over PMP and put its management to the Park and Recreation Department.
The City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation Department have made recent improvements at Pueblo Motorsports Park for our upcoming 2010 race season.
•VIP Room/Timing and Scoring: New remodeled with windows, carpeting, blinds and HVAC system.
•2.2 Road Course: recently addressed defined cracks on road course. Cracks have been sealed though out the 2.2 road course performed by City of Pueblo asphalt specialist. PMP is currently investigating major track work for the Fall of 2010’
•¼ mile Drag Strip: PMP has address safety concerns on launch pad and sealed cracks identified in pre-season walk though with drag racers. PMP is in the process of repairing the “dip” or “sag” around the Compulink timing system.
•Fencing: An enclosed safety fence had been installed around entrance admission and track office has been installed. This will prevent anyone from blowing around track office and track personnel and crossing a hot track during road course events.
•Motocross Track: some maintenance and improvements have been made to the motocross track for two races this season.
•Bleachers: staff is reviewing options to make improvements to the bleachers for the drag strip.
•Access Road: When the weather warms this spring, improvements will be made to the access road. Some pot hole patching has already occurred.
•Open ATV/Dirt Bike riding: The City is investigating options to improve, develop and better manage “illegal open riding” on site.
